OTA update on a different WIFI network?

Hi all,

due to poor wifi in some area of my house i've installed an old router as a wifi AP that is cabled to my ISP router.
I've re-flashed my esp8266 with the new SSID credentials and everthing works.
But now my PC wired to the ISP router doesn't see the boards anymore, so OTA update is no more possibile.
It's not a great problem, i can use an old laptop connected to the new WIFI when needed but there is a way for make the board available on my desk PC for flashing?

can you tune the configuration of this old router ? (set the router to operate in bridge mode, disable DHCP etc)

if you can do so, you'll end up with only one network
