Looks like there was a twelve hour outage on the site that was resolved about an hour ago. When I first tried to log in this morning, I got a cloudflare page telling me that forum.arduino.cc was down.
Looking at the the traffic in programming and projects, there's a twelve hour gap in posting, so I assume everyone else was seeing the same thing.
Same here. Not possible to connect until about an hour ago
Probably the troll-baiter over at the Bar got her mates the feds to hack the server. 
It would be nice if the Arduino folks would post a message with some brief info when there is a problem - even if they have to wait until it is fixed to do so.

I have been looking for the recent Thread in which there was a discussion with some useful ideas about upgrading the Arduino Forum software. I thought it was this Thread. IIRC there was a response from the head of the Arduino Team explaining the cause of the outage.
If I am correct, then someone must have removed all the interesting Replies.
If I am wrong and someone can point me to the Thread I was looking for I would appreciate it.
