painting robot

Hello guys,

I'm pretty new in arduino but as I've bought my starter kit I'm pretty exited about it and I have created a lot of interesting things.
Now I want to try a whole new thing and I would need some guidance.
I'm trying to attach to a robot an inkjet printer head to print directly on a wall.
Very easy till now.
The problem is that the robot's arm has to move with the same speed like the printing process and also has to come down following the printing software.
Anyone has any tips ?
I would really appreciate it

The problem is that the robot's arm has to move with the same speed like the printing process

Vertically? Horizontally? Or combined?

What kind of robot arm is it? How is it moved? Servo motors or stepper motors or something else?

and also has to come down following the printing software.

"Come down"? What does that mean?

This will be a 3dof robot with 2 servomoteurs.
One of them will move the robot completely from left to right and the other will move the arm up and down.
Both of themouvements have to be synchronised with the printing process.

Arduino servo printer/plotter stuff on youtube.
