Pan Reset Command? (Midi Control Surface)

Using CCRotaryEncoder to control track pan.

Wanting the button on the encoder to reset the pan to center.

Is there a static midi command for resetting pan?

Or will this require a calculation that considers current pan value and sends custom cc each time to bring knob to center?

Depends on the DAW and the protocol you're using. For the MCU protocol, you could use the V_POT_SELECT_1 note message.
