PC2102 Driver

Hi,

I bought a Arduino Pro Mini together with a USB-to-UART bridge that uses the CP2102 Module from Silicon Labs.

So far so good... however the usb is not recognised under windows (or linux for that matter) so I went to the site of Silicon Labs and tried to download the driver.

It's been 2 days and somehow the server from silicon labs it's faulty because the download doesn't start. So I am pleading the help of some kind soul (^^) does anyone have the driver already downloaded and could send it to me?

Oh yeah the site is:

and under the tab "TOOLS" I am trying to download the file "CP210x VCP Windows"

Thanks a bunch
Flavio

Thanks so much!!!

I owe you one

DTR to Reset?
I thought that it is needed to connect RTS to Reset like in FT232RL :expressionless:

Curious. I have no trouble with any of the documents (except the sheer size of some), nor does spycatcher2k.

Umm, how does this connect in any way to the original query here?

Both work, I understand RTS is preferable. Can't recall the exact details.

IIRC, DTR will go low as soon as the port is opened. RTS is done under program control.

Yes, either work fine for normal programming.
