I am currently 50% on my project about how i use a piezo sensor to track bpm and burned calories, but one thing is a problem. How do i lessen the sensitivity of my piezo sensor in order for it to only read when i actually make contact with it? thank you for reading guys and im hoping for your replies, ty
It would help to see a schematic but a resistor across the piezo (or a lower value resistor) will reduce the output.
There should already be a pull-down (or pull-up) resistor and you can experiment with lower value, or put another resistor in parallel.
