With luck I'mm have it mid-Feb. The goal has been laughably passed in no time flat.
If you want a 1G RAM (basic has 512M) then mid-April is the earliest until that block is sold.
If you want to spend, they have packages with goodies and the t-shirt goes for $16, more than the basic board.
This will be my Linux machine.

Looks good, but the frame rates of 30, 60 and 120Hz are probably not compatible with a UK or European 50Hz frame rate PAL TV.
The new HDTV's should run any rate including for PAL and NTSC

That's what it says on their site. I emailed them to confirm and they replied that a 50Hz version would be introduced after the 60Hz version had gone on sale. I appear to have deleted their reply.

In the UK, yes, and throughout Europe, as far as I know. We buy electricity from France (undersea cable) and that would be difficult if theirs was at a different frequency. I suspect that it's 50Hz all the way to Russia and, maybe, beyond. China?

Nope, I think you will find its DC under the water.
In Australia we have an undersea power cable system from Victoria to Tasmania, it is High Voltage DC.
If you put AC at 50Hz through a long cable under the sea, the only dielectric will be the cable insulation, so you have AC flowing through a very large and lossy couple of bits of wire.

Next vid down they show some of it running Android. It's Ubuntu compatible too.
This could become my PC for doing things Arduino with. I changed my pledge to a + model for the extras.

I spend time checking Kickstarter projects out, still on the fence for the I2C 4-port card, run up to 4 devices with the same I2C address... is that set in the device?
