RAM is expandable so I went for the earliest I could get a basic board. $15 + $7 ship to USA.
With luck I'mm have it mid-Feb. The goal has been laughably passed in no time flat.
If you want a 1G RAM (basic has 512M) then mid-April is the earliest until that block is sold.
If you want to spend, they have packages with goodies and the t-shirt goes for $16, more than the basic board.

The new HDTV's should run any rate including for PAL and NTSC
I'm amazed if there's only those choices for frame rate!
That's what it says on their site. I emailed them to confirm and they replied that a 50Hz version would be introduced after the 60Hz version had gone on sale. I appear to have deleted their reply.
Your AC is 50 Hz?
In the UK, yes, and throughout Europe, as far as I know. We buy electricity from France (undersea cable) and that would be difficult if theirs was at a different frequency. I suspect that it's 50Hz all the way to Russia and, maybe, beyond. China?
60 Hz disrupts the heart trigger.
Then I'm even more disinclined to visit the Americas, as I have a pacemaker fitted.

Nope, I think you will find its DC under the water.
In Australia we have an undersea power cable system from Victoria to Tasmania, it is High Voltage DC.
If you put AC at 50Hz through a long cable under the sea, the only dielectric will be the cable insulation, so you have AC flowing through a very large and lossy couple of bits of wire.

Just got the $29 A+ with 2GB. Delivery in March... maybe. Missed out on the last early bird by minutes.
Anyway I do not see these making the deadlines, the KS campaign does not finish until the 23rd of Jan.
Just gotta remember to leave about $58 AUD on my pre-paid debit card as I gather the $41 I pledged is in USD.
Wonder if the ESP8266 could be used to provide wifi. Id imagine there is an Android/linux AT/Hayes command driver.
I didn't look but usually I find a button to see prices in my currency. You got $12 shipping. I must live close (same country) as mine came to $7.
I spend time checking Kickstarter projects out, still on the fence for the I2C 4-port card, run up to 4 devices with the same I2C address... is that set in the device?
I see Kicks that are completed and some items cost way more.
