Please help move my Project from Tinkercad to Real Life

Update: got it to work in RL thanks for the help.
Hi,
Newish to Arduino. please help with this project (linked in Wokki)

It is supposed to be a sentinel. It should use the ultrasonic sensor to detect people who pass through the signal, then send an alarm to the piezo buzzer.
The potentiometer (in real life) has an On/off switch attached. It is supposed to act as the on/off switch for the whole project AND be a calibration dial to customise the distance the sensor will detect people.
I think my knowledge of electronic circuits is what letting me down, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The simulator works! Nice.

Do you have the Uno, HC-SR04, potentiometer, switch and buzzer? You will also want a breadboard (the connection point with the holes) and jumper wire (to make a circuit from one socket to another).

Have you tried the "blink" sketch on your Arduino?
