as topic, I need to power arduino and 2 servo motors
as I don't want to supercharge arduino, I was thinking of using a 4AA battery holster (6.3 vish) that separately feeds arduino and the 2 servos
I've already connected the ground of both servos to arduino ground.
My questions are:
- is 6.3v too much for a sg90 servo
- can i solder together both positive inputs of arduino+ servos and another cable withy 2 negative inputs so I only need 2 cables?
You need to post the details for the motor driver unless you are referring to RC SERVOS

but many websites say that it takes till 7.2v
You can run the arduino off the bsttery pack plugged into the Ext. DC barreljack but you can't run the RCservos off the Arfuino 5V because they draw too much current. I think those servos can run off the battery 6V durectly.

Correct they can.
Most I have played have ratings from 4.8v - 6v range.. (of course affecting the torque & current)
