Power System for an arduino and 2 12V motors

Hello everyone, I am planning to control 2 12V motors with an arduino nano, and I am trying to find a way to power this system. I was thinking about using 10 NiMH batteries to power both the arduino and the motors, using a buck converter to connect to the 5V pin, but I am still not sure. My main concern is wether these batteries can handle the stall current of these motors. I can't find a value for the stall current, but the current rating is 2.81A, so I guess the stall current is 15-20A. Here is the link for the motors: https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/dc-motors/4540883

Well what do the battery specifications state for maximum current?

I believe you need larger capacity batteries. From what I can fine NiMh batteries 1C = 2.8 A continuous, your rating what it can withstand is for 3C = 8.4 A short pulse to 5C = 14 A brief surge. Also be careful you will probably need heaver wires.
