Question about 3rd party brands

I am new and learning bit by bit, i found some 3rd party brand called 'keyestudio' it seems a little bit lower price than Arduino but looks decent. is it a trust worthy? anyone from your experince please enlighten me. i assume other generic no brand is more risky with their quality but thinking this 'keyestudio' is a better choice than those No brands.

The main question is product support. If the module fails, what is the return policy?
Does the seller host a product support forum and provide clear "getting started" guides? Maybe saving a dollar or two is not the most important selection criterion.

Most of the reputable hobby suppliers in the U.S., like Pololu, Adafruit and Sparkfun offer both.

However, if you know what you are doing, you can save money buying a couple of cheap sensors and hope that at least one works as expected.

Keyestudio has great Arduino sensers, that being said I have never bought an Arduino from them. Arduino is open source meaning there is no copyright issues if you make your own Arduino under their plans. So, you will find many “off brand“ Arduinos I have several Elegoo Arduinos and they work just as well as the official boards. Keyestudio has great products, and their Arduinos will probably work just as good. From my experience official Arduinos usually cost more than off brand Arduinos. Hope that helps!

Jaycar in Australia seems to be moving from Duinotech branded lower price parts to Keyestudio branded parts. I’ve been too distracted notice much about them except a Keyestudio Mega R3 I bought came with a tiny 12 page guide, compared to the lack of documentation provided with the Duinotech. Price is the same as the boards I bought about 5 years ago.
