I know that this had been done before, but i still wanted to share. I also haven't integrated Arduino into this project yet, but i know that most of the interest in this project is going to be in this community of people.
anyho, i build an RC lawnmower using Sabertooth 2X32 and wheelchair wheels, a Futaba transmitter and receiver, and i someday want to make it autonomous using Arduino. I feel lucky to be the kind of person that is familiar with Arduino, electronics, coding, and welding.
So for those of you interested in seeing how it turned out, Here it is:
I also have plans to possibly make it into a modular type of design, so the mower could be quickly bolted on and removed, with another modular attachment for a snowblower.
Especially without the lawnmover engine of course when balance is.. ..bit tail-heavy
