I have a question.
I have a 7.4v 1800 mAh lipo battery and I would like to know what I can charge it with.
I took it out of a device that had a rechargeable battery, the battery has two positive and two negative cables.
I want to know if I can charge it with a common 5v charger or build an electronic circuit to charge it
7.4 sounds like 3.7+3.7 which are standard lipo batteries. Unless you post pictures/links to what you have there is not much we can help you with
This type of battery needs a specific charging regime, you can’t do it with a fixed voltage supply . Google how to charge a lipo battery .
Ok, why do you say it is lipo battery, looks like 2 lion batteries and the reason you have both wires out because you need 2S charge controller board. This is my guess from the picture
Con You send me an image of how the controller looks?
looks like a board, there are many different designs. you need it for 2 cells hence 2S Then chose the board with desired current rating. Google “2S charge controller board”
I think that my battery have two like this
18650 most likely. There are complete boards that have charge/usage solution all in one like this eBay
Love You bro
Thanks for the información
