Remote control for solar garden lights

Hi all :slight_smile:

my parents bought a bunch of solar led lights for the garden, placed in a radius of around 3-4 meters. Annoyingly you have to turn these things off individually with a switch.

I thought of using a bunch of RF-links and ATTiny's in a mesh network to turn them on and off with a remote control.

Would this be doable ?

Would appreciate any other ideas

The receiver must be always on, and that drains the battery :frowning:
Why do you have to turn them off ? Can't they just glow until the battery is empty and recharge the next day ?
