RGB colors scanner?
Using one TCS 2300 and one Arduino UNO/Nano board - can I obtain an image of a picture in a similar way a scanner does it?
The first idea coming is to replicate the scanner machinery. But this means a precise movement on XY which I am not willing to die for.
Not sure whether the solution is in electronics or in a clever design :-).
Thank you for any idea! No matter how bizarre.

Try it out.
The main problem I see is the collected image data. That's quickly becoming overwhelming for an Arduino.
Say a matrix of 16 columns and 128 rows, each element collecting 0-256 discrete values for each R, G, B channel?
This project is educational, so no need for accuracy.
In a second phase, the matrix shall only retain the R channel and display addresses of elements that have R values above 50%. A sort of "mapping" red.

In your original post you suggested a single sensor.
One singe sensor moving on x-y.
