Hi - ive been tasked with making a data logger that records GPS and Temperature Data out of arduino. IVe had very basic Experience making breadboards+soldering ect but I do not know what Boards/Components to buy to build this dual data logging Device. Advice and any tutorials would also be greatly Appreciated! ![]()
As i readed here
( Arduino Playground - GPS )
you will only need 4 wires to the GPS module.
and as you can find here
ull just need 3 wires for the temp sensor.
So i would choose the cheapest Arduino (I think it is the uno, right ?)
- but nothing u cant find out with google....
Hope this is helping you. You can find some tutorials / code in the posted links also.
I'd also suggest an SD card reader. This will allow you to store much more data and have it in a form that is easily transferred to other platforms.
Ok thanks guys,so do you reckon that I could fit both types of data loggers on to one Uno board?
