words like
"sound frequency that upsets rabbits" produces a result set.
Using an Uno one may make a sweep frequency generator
then there are things like Ultrasonic Speakers,
The project becomes more reasonable.

So instead of a dog you will use speakers making dog sounds? Your neighbors will be ok with that?
EDIT: @noiasca beat me to it!
Please read the thread. I already said that the speaker is much quieter than a dog!
You also said it was "very loud".
Hi,
To be serious, surround your garden/vegie patch with rabbit proof fencing.
It is available and you may have to bury the fence to prevent burrowing.
Tom..
PS I'm not sure what part of the world you are in, but here in Australia proper fences is the only real solution.
Thanks Tom, we’re in the UK and fences may be the only solution in the long term. I was just trying to investigate the possibility of using technology instead..
Hi,
No technology here to stop them, apart from gun or fences.
Tom....
Killing rabbits by shooting may not be to your liking but what about baiting? Most countries [ie Australia here] have baited vegatable packages from local hardware/garden centres just for that purpose. Place "handfulls" at entry points around your garden and the rabbits will consume and die back at there burrows. Many rabbiters in Australia suggest this option..
Regards Colin.
Unfortunately other animals are also likely to die if poison is used, one of our cats dies a very painful and slow death from poison a few years ago - we suspected that he eaten a poisoned mouse or rat. No great harm if the rabbits die in burrows but if they don’t make it back or are caught by something after eating poison..
I think we have to attempt to shoot them. It’s probably the quickest and most humane way.
Thank everyone for all the suggestions!
