SG90 Server power supply

Dear all,

I'm making a new project with SG90 server (4units) for move a mechanical gripper. Moreover I would like to know recommended power for that, because one of the serves got very hot and stoped to work suddenly. This is descryption of my cenary:

To energize the system we are using arduino uno and pack of 4 AAA alkalines piles (1,5V each, total: 9V)...

Someone have any ideia what could have happened??

adjusting**** right total power is 6V*

A 4xAA battery pack is ideal to power one or two SG90 servos. Don't forget to connect the grounds.

The stopped servo was most likely overloaded. Maybe not reaching the target angle and burning power for extended time.
