Simulate code 45

is there any way i could simulate my arduino leonardo code 45

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

even if its physically connected

Helpers are not ghosts, free flying around, looking at Your things. How would we have any idea?

Did you use a data/sync cable?

What happens when you double tap(single tap might work) the reset on the Leonardo? Does the L-LED fade in/out for approx 8 seconds? And at the same time Windows device manager will / should show something like Arduino Leonardo Bootloader?

Which version of the IDE are you using?

I have no idea what code 45 is but it might be cause by a bug in your sketch.

Would you be referring to this error code as described by DiskInternals:

Several peripheral devices are always connected to the computer, such as a mouse, keyboard, and other USB-connected devices. When the OS is unable to communicate with the connected device, you see error code 45. This means that Windows does not recognize the connected peripheral.
