Hey,
I think I broke my Arduino Uno. Whenever I plug the USB cable in, the ON LED diode lights up for a second and fades away. If I keep the cable in for 10-15 seconds, the element highlighted in the picture below gets burning hot.
It happened when I was re-wiring my project on the breadboard. What did I do wrong? Is the Arduino broken?
EDIT: Playing a bit more, I've noticed it works perfectly when I take the 5V and Gnd pins out. Whenever I plug them back in, the Arduino loses power and warms up.
EDIT2: OK, I know what the problem was. I accidentialy connected 5V and Gnd pins of the temperature sensor in the wrong way. It works fine now, thanks!
