Arduino Heating up

I am working on a project including 2 servo motors and 1 HCSRO4 ultra sonic sensor. I have been using this Arduino Uno board for all my tests and I have been working on this project for about 2 weeks now. The Arduino worked perfectly fine for all this time. I even worked on it 20 minutes ago and it was working with all the components connected. But now when I try it, it gets heated up near the USB cable connection and the on light fades away when I connect the USB to my laptop. Can I get help with knowing what went wrong and any solutions?

I'd suggest you start by disconnecting all the external parts and run a simple sketch to see if the Uno is still OK.

Are you trying to power the servos from the Arduino's 5V pin?
