On the internet I bought a card thinking it was an original ARDUINO. But when I install it, it is not recognized. When I look at info on the card te serial number is white, Arduino IDE don't recognize the card.
Hi @grincheux. You definitely got a cheap derivative board instead of an official UNO R3.
Are you having trouble using the board? Or are you only concerned that the board isn't identified as an Arduino Uno?
If you are having a problem using it, please provide a detailed description of the problem in a reply here on the forum topic. You should still be able to use derivative boards without any problem.
The official (and faithful clone) boards have a serial number.
With an official board, the dialog would look something like this:
I have never heard of an Arduino with a serial number, but the first that I ever had, an Ether 10, did require some special installation procedure and the manufacturer provided all the guidance. Maybe your Uno is similar and you just need the instructions.
