Sony Vaio Screen

I have an old Sony Vaio computer that I retired. I've never popped a laptop open before so the other day I went ahead did so. I took the screen off and was curious of the following.

I was wondering if anyone has hooked up a screen that was taken off a laptop and tried hooking it up to an arduino micro-controller. I noticed 4 wires coming from the screen. I'm guessing one or two of the cables feeds into the webcam and the others I'm unsure of.

If you have to ask, it's over your level of knowledge.

It is not possible to use a panel like that with a 8-bit microcontroller.

If you had a pretty powerfull ARM-board with LVDS interface for a LCD panel and the means to program it, it would be possible.
