SP2-P-DC5V relay hook up to arduino

hello everybody

I am trying to hook up this relay SP2-P-DC5V to arduino. However, I have hard time understanding which pins I should use. The other side will be hooked up to 120 V Ac. If you can clarify it to me, that would be great. http://pewa.panasonic.com/assets/pcsd/catalog/sp-catalog.pdf -datasheet
the diagram I used to built the ckt http://www.glacialwanderer.com/_blog/blog2008/04_April/hb_relay5.jpg

The pinout is on the datasheet. What is it you don't understand ? You don't understand how relays are used or wired or what ?

I did not understand what is input and what is output. But I figured it out. thnx

A relay has a coil across pins 1 & 2 (see datasheet)

If you don’t already know how to use a relay (and just how stupid it is) THEN DO NOT PLAY AROUND WITH 120V AC if you are lucky you will only kill yourself and not anyone else!
