Also, add a 100nF ceramic capacitor on the input pin close to the regulator.

Probably add a heat sink too.

Also add a connection from 0V to the GND pin.

A switch (and maybe a fuse) on the input would be nice.

No ground connection to pin 2 and a cap wired in destructo mode?

Yes full marks for everone.

The regulator is a 5V mosfet , in the video description.

The video is nicely made and it only spends time on a kindergarten animation.

The mistake would be believing it works :see_no_evil:

The cocnvention is -- the node is to be joined by a dot.

LM7805 has not used any MOSFET in its design.
