Mate. You've just mentioned Star Trek. Which now officially makes us friends. lol I would love a 3d printer but i can't justify getting one when this online service I found will print both my reel holders and 10 teeth sprocket for under £40. plus i have no clue how to design a 3d object for the printer. as for the perf board. i only have two 2inX3in boards left(size of the arduino uno). I'v only used the bread board as my wires wernt long enough and i had run out old solder at the time.(must remember to order some more when i order the new steppers. when you say i NEED a 3d print to mount all my stuff. do you mean the cnc shield? cos i though it just goes ontop the uno? i have a hobby box i was going to put all the gubbings in once its finished and all working. I would like to be able to use the lcd as well as the shield but it looks like i wont have any free pins left. perhaps i should of bought a mega?
