Hello, I am trying to make a circuit (Wheatstone bridge) with a 3 wires strain gauge. I am trying to use the circuit below, but, I do not know how to put the strain gauge with 3 wires into the circuit.
Do you have a datasheet of your sensor? Does it include a sample application sketch?
If your gauge has 2 sensors, they may form one half of the bridge.
If your gauge has 3 sensors, like for measuring strain in two directions at the same time, use any of these sensors and forget about the other two. Otherwise you have to hook the sensor to a different circuitry.
A Wheatstone bridge strain gauge has four wires. As suggested above, you have something else. The data sheet is essential.
A strain gauge with three wires is just one side if a bridge, you need to supply the other side of the bridge with your own two resistors.
