Syncing ardiuno nano esp32 to mac

Hi, Im having so many issues getting an arduino nanoesp32 to upload from a mac. IDE ver 2.3.8 Can someone help me out. AI’s taken me around a massive loop and was hoping someone out there actualy knows what to do. thank you in advance, Rob

Please give an accurate description of the problem(s) that you're experiencing and provide the output the verbose output of an upload attempt.

To provide verbose output for upload, enable verbose output during upload and disable verbose output during compilation; you can find those setting under file -> preferences.
Post the output of the upload attempt here using code tags as described in https://forum.arduino.cc/t/how-to-get-the-best-out-of-this-forum/679966#posting-code-and-common-code-problems.

In a separate exercise enable verbose output during compilation and compile (verify); post the first few (3 or 4) lines here (again using code tags); that way we know exactly which board is involved.

I'm not a Mac user and I'm not a Nano ESP32 user so probably can´t help further.

Mac user here.
First do you have another board? An UNO or NANO or esp32?
Have you ever done an upoad?
Are you intel or silicon (Apple)?

Hi, yes i have a few boards, an uno, arduino standard and arduino nano33ble boards. all upload codes. Ive never done an upload with these brand new out of the box arduino nano esp32 boards. Im using the latest IDE ver 2.3.8, MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2014) 1.7 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7 (its old I know) ive attached a screen shot of tools → board.
