The new Arduino Cloud UI is finally out with enhanced UX and new features!

Hi everyone!

We're thrilled to announce that Arduino Cloud has a fresh new look. After months of hard work by our team, we're excited to unveil a new version featuring a brand-new User Interface (UI). This UI has been thoughtfully designed with your needs in mind, and we're confident it will greatly enhance your interaction with Arduino Cloud.

This new UI has been shaped by the feedback and input we’ve received from you, our users. Your contributions drive our progress and show us the way for our improvements. We actively engage with your ideas, questions, and experiences through the forum, direct feedback channels, and our shared community-driven values to shape the future of Arduino Cloud. Your input is invaluable as we strive to create a platform that truly meets your needs and aspirations.

But this renewal goes beyond just a cosmetic update. It impacts not only the new User Interface (UI) but also many other aspects of the Cloud, as well as our IoT Remote app. These new features and improvements will be progressively introduced in the coming weeks, so be sure to stay tuned for the next wave of exciting announcements.

What’s new in the UI?

  1. New navigation bar: Say hello to a new, sleek navigation bar in Arduino Cloud. You can now seamlessly jump between your devices, sketches and your dashboards.

  1. Cleaner design: We’ve revamped the design to make it more visually appealing and clutter-free. Your projects and data take center stage, ensuring a distraction-free development environment.

  1. New sketchbook: Discover a new evolution of our sketch management features, turning your sketches into a digital, secure sketchbook. You’ll always be on top of things, whether you're tinkering with IoT projects, working on standalone sketches, or both.
  2. Quick access to templates: We’ve made it easier for users to find and select pre-built templates from the new navigation bar. Now, you can choose among thermostat control, ventilation, smart garden and many more to get quickly started with an IoT project.
  3. Shared Spaces home dashboard: We’re introducing a new dashboard view for Shared Spaces, where you can monitor usage of the Cloud instantly.
  4. Device Connection Status History: The addition of a new chart displaying the device connection status over time fulfills the requests of many users who have been eagerly longing for this feature.
  5. White labeling: With our new white-labeling feature, you can add a custom logo to your dashboard and even customize the Arduino logo on the top left. Make it truly yours!

Hats off to the Cloud development team and everyone involved  for the hard work behind this major milestone!

We're eager to hear your feedback and look forward to your input.

I was using this yesterday and I liked it. Two minor issues: switching between the ‘home’ screen and the code screen required clicking on a cloud symbol, then on the X to get back. Also at one point sketches are listed, but usually I have them in folders, so it was difficult to find the one I wanted from a long list.
…and my UNO R4 WiFi is now working after a frustrating week of not being able to load the connectivity software.
Well done.

To clarify my previous posting:
Having had a little more time to look at the new interface -
With two browser tabs open for the Arduino Editor and Home/Arduino Cloud.
If I click on the cloud symbol in the editor to get back to the cloud, I get another browser tab.
If l select sketches from the cloud tab I get a long list of my sketches, whereas from the Editor tab l get a list of folders containing sketches. If I select a specific sketch from the cloud tab I get another Editor tab.
As I am switching back and forth between the editor and the web I only want two tabs open.
Can we expect to see the editor included in the list of options along with Home/Sketches/Devices/Things etc under the browser cloud tab?
