hello does anyone tried using qr701 rs232 directly to arduino?
I've been trying to use it but it only print Chinese characters the baud rate of the printer is 9600 I'm using external 5v 3A for thermal printer cant figure out why it only prints Chinese character

Does the printer accept commands to change to a different font? It likely prints a 5X7 image for each ASCII character you send to the printer? There may be a different font set for your preferred language.
Says right there in the document that the font is CHINESE, so you got what you paid for, I guess.
You send an image, we cannot explore to see if there are options. Info in image is insufficient, leads one to belive there aren't any options. So, good luck.

Some printers require a specific command to switch to ASCII or a different language set. Look through the printer's command manual for something like ESC R n or similar that sets the code page.
