Total newby here, did some digging on the forum and have a general question on connecting thermocouples to the UNO R3. I am using this topic as a general guide but want to confirm it would work for the UNO R3 too.
Can I just connect all the D0s to a single digital pin, all the CLKs to a single digital pin then the various CS pins to their own single digital pins?
My end goal is a data logger/viewer for multiple thermocouples and 1-2 pressure transducers. I have a UNOR3 as i started playing with the starter kit, but would this be easier if I just jumped to a different board sooner rather than later?
You posted your question in a section for the UNO R4 which is a very different beast to the R3. I moved it to the Project Guidance section where it should get a little more traffic.
The main difference between the Mega and UNO is the size and the number of pins. As long as the code fits on the UNO then it should work there.
That sounds like an SPI interface. If so then I would think this is correct. Maybe someone else knows a bit more about the particular sensor you're using and can help more.
Still working on which hardware I am gonna buy but currently looking at these, I know i can figure out the pressure transducer. That is a simple analog input.
