Type k thermocouple to mega 2560

Hello all ,

i have question as below , i am planning to connect 8 type k thermocouple to the arduino mega 2560 through 8 max31855 module . my question is i have to use logic level controller between max31855 and arduino mega or not ?. if yes then my circuit is okay or not ?

In the US, green connectors are for type R or S thermocouples. Type R and S are made from different metals (platinum / rhodium) than type K (Chromel / Alumel).

this connections are okay or not ?

  1. i have to use Vin pin or 3vo ?. while in this design i have used Vin .
  2. i have to connect clk to pin 13 and DO pin to pin 12 always or i can choose any but the condition is that will be shared with all max31855 ?
  3. i have to connect deferent uniq cs pin to all max31855 module ?.

No need to use 3VO
You can share the clock and DO but you need separate CS lines

Yes OK but I would use a slower SPI clock like 1MHz
