Hi, i recently bought this tm1637 display from https://direnc.net but it dosen't work, everything is fine, code is fine and the hardware is fine. The damn display dosen't show anything. I feel like i've been scammed. Can someone respond please?
There is an examplein the GYVER library, try it, if it doesn’t work, then apparently a marriage
i dont know how to desolder on SMD
Some people carefully cut the capacitors off with a flush cutters.
However, the PCB traces can be damaged if you are not careful.
Take the board to someone who knows how to solder.
i removed the caps' with an screwdriver but it still dosent work
Your display board is likely faulty then.
no, i checked the led panel but it works theres something with the tm1637 i bought it for 2$ anyways
Always show us a good schematic of your proposed circuit.
Show us a good image of your ‘actual’ wiring.
Give links to components.
In the Arduino IDE, use Ctrl T or CMD T to format your code then copy the complete sketch.
Use the </> icon from the ‘posting menu’ to attach the copied sketch.
ok, my code is TM1637TEST file in the example of the library.
We don’t have that sketch, if you want help, you need to provide the code and sketch/images.
do you know the library called tm1637 right? it's the example of that
TM1637Test.ino (3.2 KB)
and the DIO of the clock goes to D3 and the CLK to D2
Need to see good images of the actual wiring, clearly showing the connections.
As a test, try different pins eg. 8 and 9, make sure you change the sketch to reflect the new pins.
alr lemme try
Still nothin'
Pointing to a bad display board, if you have an UNO, try it too.
i tried it on that too, nothin' showed up
Get new boards.
