To transmit .WAV file from PC to PC through arduino and a transmitter

I m new to arduino. I would like to transmit a .wav file from a PC through arduino to other PC. i have few doubts.

  1. What is the best choice of transmitter.
  2. How to read a file from a PC by arduino.

Thanks in advance

My advice: do not use an Arduino for this. Connect the PCs directly using transmitters. For example, WiFi, Bluetooth.

I can see no advantage to using Arduino for this and many disadvantages.

I suspect you posted this on the wrong topic...

I agree with @PaulRB, and I wonder how you were planning to connect the PC to an Arduino (physical or radio? So, serial/USB? Wifi? Bluetooth? What?), how each PC should send and receive a file, and why you were evaluating an Arduino in the middle instead of a direct PC-to-PC connection.

I think a better description could help us better understand what you need to do, and give you correct advices.

What purpose does the Arduino serve. The simplest is a direct connection as suggested by @PaulRB

I once helped create a 1Mbps (bits) network to transmit images... meanwhile the office ran on 100baseT. The "network" would go places that needed old architecture less affected by poor power.
