I've seen plenty of people post questions asking how to connect their TFT LCD to a Arduino MEGA, unfortunately there are barely any for the UNO. I'm fairly new to the Arduino world but am willing to learn.
I can't seem to find a schematic showing the connections to an UNO.
I just need to connect the LCD to the UNO and a good understanding of what kind of code to use to display a couple of images.
Ok, are you linking the actual TFT screen that you bought because the "(non-touch)" is throwing me. You linked a touch screen. Are you saying that you are trying to use it without the touch functionality? Did you get the adapter shield?
I actually purchased the one you linked and you can see my review for connecting it to a Mega. I give the pinouts for the adapter shield for a Mega but it wouldn't be hard to translate to an Uno.
Give a little more information about your setup and I can help you out.
Key word Sainsmart, another Newbie with 1 post, why oh why don't they read about the woes and tribulations of Sainsmart BEFORE they save themselves a couple of $$ and inherit MAJOR grief??
Send it back, get a refund. I haven't got the patience to repeat myself again, and again, and again, and again, EVERY time a newbie with 1 post says I bought a Sainsmart .... (who cares) and it don't work.

This will allow you to get the display working. Read the included PDF files for how to setup the library for your configuration.

I could have misunderstood when I bought it believing that it wasn't a touch screen. I did buy the shield for it, but for my project the touchscreen would be of no use.
Tbh, I'm not familiar with the pinouts for the Mega to translate it to the Uno so that creates a big hinder on my end.
I want to connect that LCD TFT and microphone to an Arduino. When the threshold reaches a certain parameter the LCD would display a different image.
Microphone
I managed to get the display working but with my lack of knowledge of arduino coding I couldn't change the code without it not working completely after.

Graham, chill out. Unfortunately no one seems to be grieving in this post but you?
Pointing out that it was a Sainsmart was to help readers better figure out what I was dealing with. It worked didn't it? You realized it was a dud of a product.
