Trouble Installing UNO r3 driver

Hello,

I recently bought a Kuman Uno and I can’t figure out how to get it to work with the Arduino software. I’ll attach the instructions they give me if you want to look at that. My issue is when I try to extract the files from the Old_Arduino_Drivers zip folder, none of the inf file will extract and I get an error saying “Cannot open output file”. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the arduino software, but I don’t know what else to try.

I’m pretty new to all of this so I don’t really know how to fix this or what the issue even really is, I’m sorry if I didn’t give enough information, just let me know what I missed!

I’m using a Windows computer running Windows 8.1 64 bit.

OK the doc was good for a giggle.

Now on to more serious things.
Win 8.0 / 8.1 suffer from higher driver enforcement issues than most other flavours of windows.

Google win 8 driver enforcement and take the needed steps to bypass it for the Arduino drivers

Then (giggles again) follow the destructions in the doc.
