Trouble with Arduino uno r3 +EasyVR

Hi there,
I'm facing a problem with EasyVR shield. I installed the code on the Ardunio and made sure that the shield is well connected with Arduino. But when I run the serial monitor, I keep getting the same error message "EasyVr not detected" .
I tried changing the port but the same problem kept showing up.

Please HELP ME ASAP!!! My project submission deadline is very sooon!!

What code? Did you use EasyVR Commander to generate the code?
