Trying to locate a printable case for an Arduino + i2c display

Hello.

Can somebody help me out?

I was kind of surprised that I can not find a printable case for an Arduino Uno, or Mega, or nano which can house one of the common oled display (0.9, or 1.3 inch), and maybe has space for 1-5 buttons.

Best case it also has space for a DCDC buck/boost, so I can connect a wide range of voltages to power the project. Am I searching wrong? I really would assume there should be plenty?

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

I think you can try making it on pcbways or jlpcb site where u can upload ur custom case and they will send u case in very cheap rates and quality will be outstanding

Thanks. I was looking for the other way around, since I don’t currently have the ability to design myself. So I am looking for a printable file/case.

Your difficulty is because you have 3 mcu * 2 oled * 5 button combinations. Nothing "printable" can accomodate 30 configurations. Make your choices, make your measuremets, and search for a SINGLE solution. Or, design it yourself.

No, no. I just wanted to point out that I am very flexible with the board, could be either of the ones listed, as long as it fits either of the screen sizes and gives me the opportunity to place at least one (and up to 5) buttons.

But I guess there really is nothing. Just surprised: Arduino is all over the place, and a display plus a button seems very basic. Guess I am wrong there…

How did you go from "no one has designed and uploaded a case that fits any of my use cases" to "Arduino is all over the place"? Arduino isn't in the business of designing cases.

I have a couple dozen Arduinos and esp boards plus a 3D printer and although I have plans for a camera case for my XIAOs I have yet to print a case for an Arduino project.

Am I really expressing myself so unclear?
If I understand you correct: You stipulate that I would demand that Arduino should provide a few basic 3D printable cases? While this actually is a neat idea, since they sell vast numbers, I never demanded that. I was in general wondering since “Arduino is all over the place” (in the hands of so many since a long time), that there are so few cases which fit basic projects (board, display, few buttons), that’s all.

A real world example! I have always recycled metal cases from scrapped commercial products, except for several new/old stock Radio Shack cases. I built several Arduino projects for my late company using cases I found at ham radio swap shows. Some were $1.00 and some were free!

Your problem is that you are vague. You MUST select EXACTLY the items to encase. Even in your excuse of your vagueries you still leave a fog of possibilities.

Name exactly the devices to include.
