it's the scheme i used and my result

and there's another picture (sorry for bad english)

You need to double check your wiring.

I don't think there's something wrong, i rebuilt it 3 times

How did you decide which pin to connect the potentiometer to? Do you have specifications or a data sheet for the display?

I know that potentiometers have right, left, and central pins so i just looked at my potentiometer and it similar to one that is on scheme, just the central pin is at the back so i did the same as the scheme showed and i thought it would work

looks like the breadboard is wired to 3V3 and not +5V

Can you show me where is it? I just dont get how breadboards work

The "3v3" pin is next to the "5v" pin. You want the 5v pin... which looks like you are using a blue jumper wire. That jumper wire is going to the breadboard on the "RED" column/rail, making it a "5v rail". Your GROUND (black) jumper wire is going to the breadboard on the "BLUE" column, making it a "Ground Rail/column." To the right are the component channels/rows... green and orange... they are perpendicular to the Rails and allow continuity to anything plugged into those component channels.
