Undeclared Scope: AdaFruit NeoPixel Ring

Every time I go to Verify my code an error message appears stating that " 'AdaFruit_NeoPixel' was not declared in this scope "

Am I going to waste a portion of my monthly mobile data on downloading a picture of dubious worth?
No, I don't think so.

Do you have the AdaFruit_NeoPixel.h library in the right folder?

Post the full text of the error message, use the copy error message button to easily copy/paste it.

I will never understand why people ignore the "copy error message" button, and instead post a screenshot of a fragment of the error message. It's more work for you, and doesn't provide the information we need to help you. Likely there are other errors above that (such as an error reporting that the library wasn't found) that point the way to the actual problem.

The adafruit library is in the library folder

And in the picture, that is all the error code said. There was nothing else in the error box, that's why i simply posted a screenshot that had all the information in it.

The scroll-bar indicates that only about half of the content in the output window is shown.

Also, due to the JPEG compression, I can't be certain of what some of the characters in the sketch are. The equals sign on the 6th line looks suspiciously like it might be a dash.

Please post the sketch, and the error, as text, not picture.

I scrolled up and it was blank, that's why i scrolled down. The red error message in the picture is the only thing in that box.

which library folder?

Did you restart the IDE after putting the library in your /libraries folder?

Folder Arduino/libraries/Adafruit_NeoPixel

MineBuilderD:
Folder Arduino/libraries/Adafruit_NeoPixel

What OS starts path names that way?

Did you just copy the library there or did you ADD ZIP LIBRARY in the sketch menu?

Adafruit_NeoPixels myNeoPixels = AdaFruit_Neopixel(...)

So many posts wasted over a trivial error that's easily visible in the screenshot.

C++ is case sensitive. Adafruit_NeoPixel is not the same as AdaFruit_NeoPixel. Spot the difference.

ETA: ...and I get ninja'd on the reply.

Zoom in, I can read everything perfectly. JPEG's got nothing to do with it.
