understanding generated IR code

Hello, I am new to this forum.

I'm a 54 year old eager to learn dental technician but i love to solve problems. This problem is to difficult to handle for me and could use some help. I wil first explain my problem. sorry for my english i'm dutch but here we go.

I have an old AV reciever the Sony strV555es. its ia great and it has a 2way remote commander.
I wanted to use my tablet or iphone in combintation with an IR Hub such as Logitech harmony hub.
Not all functons are available so i've tryed the learning option. It did not work.
After some calls with logitech helpdeks it was clear that i needed codes. Hex or Pronto. Sony after many attempts doesnt provide these codes.

I learned that Arduino has the capebility to read and decode the signal, so i build the remote en used an exiting sketch if i'm saying it correctly.
It is the arduino uno R3 with the VS1838B. The sketch i used is made by Ken Shirrif (2009)

It is reading the code but it seems that it can not recognize it?

This is the output when i hit the subwoofer plus 1

Does anybody have a clue about this ? Can it be converted to a pronto or hexcode
Thank you

You have a tough project to start with. You should post your schematic, not a frizzy thing, showing all power and ground connections and your code. The Sony IR if my memory is correct is a 38 - 40 Khz modulated signal. Ken Shirriff posted a good explenation at Understanding Sony IR remote codes, LIRC files, and the Arduino library, check it out it will be a big help.
