The L light blinks after reset but while uploading program, the given error occurs

Please be as specific as possible as some Arduino boards with similar names have significant differences and the forum helpers can only provide effective assistance if we are aware of which one is being used.
If you aren't sure how to describe which board you are using, you can provide the link to the online product listing you bought the board from and we'll proceed based on the information found there.
Board I'm using is Arduino uno R3
I'm going to ask you to post the full verbose output from an upload attempt.
This procedure is not intended to solve the problem. The purpose is to gather more information.
Please do this:
- Select File > Preferences... (or Arduino IDE > Settings... for macOS users) from the Arduino IDE menus.
The "Preferences" dialog will open. - Uncheck the box next to Show verbose output during:

compilation in the "Preferences" dialog. - Check the box next to Show verbose output during: ☐ upload.
- Click the "OK" button.
- Attempt an upload, as you did before.
- Wait for the upload to fail.
- You will see a "Upload error: ..." notification at the bottom right corner of the Arduino IDE window. Click the "COPY ERROR MESSAGES" button on that notification.
- Open a forum reply here by clicking the "Reply" button.
- Click the

icon on the post composer toolbar.
This will add the forum's code block markup (```
) to your reply to make sure the error messages are correctly formatted.
- Press the Ctrl+V keyboard shortcut (Command+V for macOS users).
This will paste the error output from the upload into the code block. - Move the cursor outside of the code block markup before you add any additional text to your reply.
- Click the "Reply" button to post the output.

Failed uploading: uploading error: exit status 1
This error might be caused by having the wrong port selected from the Tools > Port menu in Arduino IDE.
Please perform this experiment to verify that the port you have selected is your Arduino board:
With official boards, the port will be labeled with the board name in the menu (e.g., "COM42 (Arduino Uno)"). In this case, you can be fairly confident that you have identified the port. Select that port from the menu and try uploading again.
With some cheap derivative boards the port will not be labeled. You can positively identify the port using this procedure:
- Disconnect the USB cable of the Arduino board from your computer.
- Select Tools > Port from the Arduino IDE menus.
- Take note of the ports, if any, listed in the menu.
- Close the Tools menu.
The ports list is only updated when the Tools menu is re-opened, so this step is essential.
- Connect the Arduino board to your computer with a USB cable.
- Select Tools > Port from the Arduino IDE menus. - If a new port is listed in the menu, that is the port of your Arduino board.
Select that port from the menu and try uploading again.
If the upload still fails, or if no new port appeared after you plugged the Arduino board into your computer, add a reply here to let us know and we'll investigate the problem further.
For what it's worth, same thing happened to me. I checked EVERYTHING, and tried several other boards. Then I restarted my computer and it fixed the problem. I guess it needed the USB ports reset. Litterally all that was going on.
