So on this shield there are a row of pins labeled "CON1"
No clue what they are and im hoping i can connect to an analog pin from an UNO through them
I cant find any reference to how these work or what they are
Can anyone lend me a hand or send me a link to something on this?

The 9x2 holes are simply a repeat of the shield signals. i.e. the TFT and microSD.
From memory, LCD_RST is not on the the 9x2.
You can use the microSD pins for something else if you are not using the SD.
Otherwise Analog#5 is your only unused pin.
Many Uno clones have A6, A7 available as Analog pins. They can not be used as Digital.
Regarding software. MCUFRIEND_kbv should work out of the box. If your shield has an ILI9341 there are lots of other libraries e.g. Adafruit_TFTLCD.
