Voltage sensor 25V and Arduino IDE serial port (COM)

Hello. Actually, my question is quite simple. May a voltage sensor (25V) signal make Arduino serial port disconnect and if yes then how may I test it/catch it/solve it?

More detail please.
A lot more… imagine we’re sitting in a log cabin at the North
pole, and someone sends a letter “I want to get a new cat, can you help?”
Sure.

Getting a cat is easier ..

Anyhow we need:

  • what board?
  • what voltage sensor?
  • how is it wired ?together ; schematic
  • what code ?
-how is it all powered ?
  • what happens ?

Interesting but I have a problem with your question. After reading it I have no clue as to what you have. Post an annotated schematic showing how it was wired showing all connections, power, and ground. I do not work with frizzes or pictures. A readable picture of a hand drawn schematic is OK. Also post links to the hardware items that give the technical details. The reason there are many different devices and incompatible devices I can find with your description.

Spend a few minutes at this link: How to get the best out of this forum

Yes, sure. Hou can find more information here:

Actually, I have just solved this problem partly when outputting information on the LCD 2004 screen, but it still persists for the serial port. You can see my final comment in the post #40 for the link above.

Connect 9 volt + (positive) to the blue screw terminal marked " + ".
Connect 9 volt - (negative) to the blue screw terminal marked " - ".
On the opposite end of the sensor, there are 3 pins, connect the " - " (negative) pin to Arduino GND pin.
Connect the "S" (signal) pin to Arduino A0 pin.
The sensor has a division ratio of 1 to 5, so, if you connect 9 volts to the blue screw terminals, you will have 9 / 5 = 1.8 volts between the " - " and "S" pins on the other end of the sensor. DO NOT connect anything to the " + " pin next to the "S" pin.

No it can not.
So you are doing something else wrong or you Leonardo is damaged.
