just start with making work what you already have. make the LEDs light, the motors move, the displays show something. Use example codes from the libraries. This works toward having other ideas to realize
hey i like that screen! can you tell me what it is and where i can get it.
@galacticobmg are those comparable with Arduino Uno and or giga if so i will buy them.
oh I just read it! thank you!
start here: https://projecthub.arduino.cc/
my project started as a doorbell that says anything but ding-dong. it escalated into a perimeter monitor for a 10acre+ property. the doorbell has more than 300 sounds. gongs, movie quotes, music riffs. people push the button over and over, laughing like children. I need to reduce it to just the doorbell and post it in project hub.
that's hilarious! totally original. how did you get the sound recordings to play though?
just search for WAV files, that will keep you off the streets for a long time. look for a YX-5300 (YX5300 Serial MP3 Player (Catalex Module) – Arduino++) sound module. it plays files off of a TF card - the true name of a micro SD card. you send a command through a serial interface and the module plays it with an internal CPU. once it starts the module is on its own and the Arduino resumes regular duties.
I learned that playing the same "system working" bootup message will drive you screaming when you test it 50 times in a day, so I have one folder that is mostly Star Trek clips, so you get one of 15 variations of Majel Barret announcing that the system is working.
Yeah, I understand. You can see the built-in tutorials for the basic idea and then write your own code.
thank you all so much! I will look into this!
