Web editor not creating new sketch

I have about 20 kids on chromebooks that cannot add a new sketch. the error is "failed to add sketch". They have arduino create for education installed as a chromebook app, and just signed up for new accounts today. I do also have other students at my school same hardware, same network who have older accounts that can create sketches.

Same here...none of my accounts..none of my students' accounts...not one person can make a new sketch. I can make a "Thing" but not a sketch.

Thanks for reporting everyone. I don't know if there is an official way to report this. It seems they are unaware.

I don't know if this website is updated / checked but : https://status.arduino.cc/ looks as though they are unaware.

I contacted Arduino about the problem, so hopefully they will do something about it.

I discovered this thread after contacting Arduino support myself. Similarly, I was introducing Arduino to 20 freshmen in my STEM class, and it was not a great day to say the least. I hope it gets resolved soon.

Temporary solution: Duplicate an old sketch. Erase content. Add new content and rename title.
