What products do I have to buy first?

Hi guys. I’m an electronic engineering student (2nd year) and I would like to jump into the Arduino world. However it is not clear to me what kind of products I have to buy. Can you guys help me?
I don’t have any experience in this world, however I’ve studied coding (C++) and electrical engineering (in Italy we call it “elettrotecnica”, I don’t know if I translated it in the right way)

Watch some Arduino YouTube videos first to peak you interest.

FYI

I'd suggest you get the basic bits you need to do the first 12 projects on this site

You could do worse than to get the "starter kit" they advertise; or another simple "starter kit"

Hello mattiacolciago

Do you have a hobby to add an Arduino into?

Uhm, not really

Hi, thanks for your answer, however I don’t understand if it is “better” to get the kit or to follow the site.

Get the kit and start coding is my advice. I started with a Uno like many do but actually in my opinion the Nano is more useful because it mounts in a plugin breadboard for experiments or you can use stripboard with headers or even soldering in direct for more permanent projects. Use this site and others for inspiration and advice.

The site will guide you through some simple and interesting projects.
To do that you will need the hardware. Bits & pieces. You will save money and time if you get a kit
mostly the kits include a "Uno"; That will get you started.

You may also get some project ideas from my site

This doesn't answer your question, but something that was extremely helpful as an absolute noob to electronics/programming, which also helped me to decide if it was a hobby worth investing in, was an Arduino and circuit simulation software called Tinkercad. Though now I prefer using a different one called Wokwi. They're not perfect, but it allowed me to get breadboarding and coding basic circuits freely and immediately.
