I have not find and try to install the driver you mentioned as the adaptor I purchased was based on FT232RL chip.
I see know reading better. You were referring to an alternate possibility.

Maybe there are two issues:
─ USB-TTL UARTs
─ USB-TTL UARTs for programming (Uploading I/O boards).
I once bought a "FTDI USB UART" (ebay, long ago), but the IC is actually marked FTOI.
It works for general rx/tx and programming.
Welcome to the community @oladragos , anyway I still did not get my FTDI USB Programmer to work but I have not done much research about it as I did not need it lately. I think you got a counterfeit one like mine so I would buy another one off a reputable store or location and regarding the Chinese one you were asking about, I bought it and it works but includes no reset pin which is quite annoying as I need to reset t before programming Manually but it works well for its price and you do not need to worry counterfeiting as it is based around china made chips so its all china
Thank you for your warm welcome!
I'm doing extra research on finding a reliable vendor for this kind of adaptor.
I'm also considering getting the CH340 one if the research turns out to be in vain
