I thought it was a problem because I am using Firefox and Opera in Linux Mint.
It turns out I have the same problem on Windows 7 with Firefox and IE.
All of the JPGs or PNGs or whatever in First 8 characters not displaying properly - Displays - Arduino Forum are not viewable by me. Empty boxes.
When I try right-clicking on one of the images, it takes me to Google and wants me to log into my account. HUH? ? ?
What is going on?
In IE, the images have small X which means they are inaccessible.
It's the incorrect assumption of the poster that leads to this.
Poster thinks that if he can see the pictures, everyone can see them.
So no matter if he posts links to a google service, demanding any one to view the contents to be logged in at google.
He is always logged in at google, so he has no problem seeing the pics.
Others, responding in the topic are also logged in or are logging in to see the pics.
If you do not have a google account, you cann ot see the pictures.
So it's not you, nor any of your settings.
It's the original poster who makes more than one mistake, and assumes too much.
Can't be helped.
Tell him that if he really wants to get help, he needs to use an other place to put his pics and not some screened site like he is using now.
