Where can I view (my) old topics

Is there anywhere where all my previous posts are listed? I would like to look at topics that I have started some time ago but am having trouble finding them. Somewhere on the profile page maybe?

Click on your name/avatar, select Show Posts.

CrossRoads:
Click on your name/avatar, select Show Posts.

I too would like to do the same but the above advice doesn't work for me. I get account settings, store settings and store profile. No "Show Posts" - or at least I can't see it.

Cheers Alan

I wonder if that's a moderator function then.

Works for me. Click on your name, top left of the post, then on the lower left 'Show Posts'.

That works but is a kinda Catch22 as you have to be on a thread you have already made a posting. Where do you go if you aren't at thread where you have made a posting?

Click on your avatar at top right of screen, select Profile. Scroll down towards the bottom of the page, to Forum Settings, and click on Edit / (Pencil symbol). Takes you to the same page.

That's it... but "Edit" !!!!!

I'd lend the Forum designers my very useful book on user interface design by Alan Cooper but it turned out to be so useful someone 'borrowed' it from me at work and didn't think to let me know.

Also found it by going to your own name at the bottom of the main forum page http://forum.arduino.cc/ and clicking on that....

I made the mistake of clicking the 'Hide me' option a while ago. It also hid the 'Unhide me' option, so I don't appear in that list!

One of those "DOH" moments by the designers.

Is quicker than the other completely counter-intuitive method. The link obviously should be one of those directly opening under the avatar.

Nevertheless, accessing one of you own posts is quite easy; those posts to which you have replied are marked in the index by the "little man" (person).

That's rather unfortunate.

"Don't make me Think" by Steve Krug is good
Also "User Interface Design for Programmers" by Joel Spolsky.
